Asif Ali Komu

Asif Ali Komu is an Indian art promoter, film producer, and director working predominantly in the Malayalam entertainment industry. He hails from Ettumana, a village in the Trichur district of Kerala. Asif Ali Komu got his pre-degree from the Calicut University-affiliated St. Thomas School in Thiroor. He obtained his Diploma in Electrical-ITI in 1972. He got married to Beena in 1973 and has a daughter. His granddaughter is author Aysha Afreen who wrote his first novel at the age of thirteen. He has been the Managing Director of Komusons Advertising, Marketing, and Art Gallery. Asif Ali Komu is the producer of a Malayalam short film Clean India. Asif Ali Komu is known for holding various exhibitions featuring art and caricature. He has organized over a hundred exhibitions throughout his career in India and other countries. His first international art exhibition in Sharjah was in 1994. Asif Ali Komu moved to Aluva in 2009, where he established the Komusons Art Gallery. His hobbies include photography and promoting art.
