Manjari Malayalam Actress


Manjari was born on April 17, 1986. She was born in Thiruvananthapuram and was brought up in Muscat. Kannur is where her family originated from. She is a Hindustani vocalist and an Indian playback singer. Babu Rajendran is her father, and Dr. Latha Manjari is her mother. Madhuri is her younger sister. She studied in the Sultanate of Oman in Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir. When Manjari was in her eighth grade, she had her first stage show. She performed with the Kolkata- based rock band, Shiva. Manjari entered the film industry in the year 2005. Ilaiyaraja was the one who introduced her to the film industry. She sang the song Swasathin Thalam along with Dr. K. J. Yesudas and Tamarakuruvikku in the movie Achuvinte Amma directed by Sathyan Anthikad. She received the Asianet Award for the song Thamarakuruvikku. After her successful debut, she worked with M.G. Radhakrishnan, Vidyasagar, Kaithapuram Viswanathan, Ramesh Narayan, M. Jayachandran, Late Raveendran and Ilaiyaraja. She also sang for albums like Mazhayil Aaro Oral by Balabhaskar’s. Manjari has sung songs in more than 200 Tamil and Malayalam films. She has also sung for many album songs. She has performed in Hindustan Classical Concerts all over the world and India under the significant banner titled Soorya. Manjari is also famous as a Ghazal singer. She performed a show in Media One TV named Khayal which was an exclusive Ghazal show. The show featured all the famous Ghazals of the former times. Manjari received the Kerala State Film Award twice for Best Female Singer in 2004 and then in 2008. The former was for the song Mukilin Makale and the latter for Mullulla Murikkinmel. She has her brand name for Ghazal Concerts and her performances both in India and worldwide. She is still learning under the aid of Pandit Ramesh Jule of Kirana Gharana in Hindustani Classical Music. Manjari is the recipient of the respected Sahir and Adeeb International Award in 2016 for her role to Urdu and kind of ghazals. She was the one and only Indian to win the award in the year 2016. Manjari is also the youngest Indian to win this renowned award. Manjari released her debut single in Hindi in 2014 named Aiy Aiy Yaa. The Musical video was shot in Dubai. She released her Malayalam single in the year 2015 named Anuragam. She is a famous playback singer and live performer, performing in India and worldwide.


Rahul Nambiar

Rahul Nambiar is an Indian recording artist, playback singer, and performer. He has a degree in MBA and In 2001, Rahul participated in “Swapthasarangal,” a music reality show and won it. He is famous for his song “Swapnagnal” from the movie “Bhagyadevatha,” directed by Sathyan Anthikad. Rahul was born in Kannur, Kerala and spent his childhood in Delhi and Chennai. After his studies, he was in a bank for two years. After winning the show Swapthasaranga, Rahul decided to seek a career in singing. He was brought in the music industry by director Vijay Antony for the movie “Dishyum.” Under the music director Vidyasagar for the movie “Mulla” he sang his first Malayalam song “Ee Raavil.” Rahul started singing from a very young age. He is a trained Hindustani and Carnatic music singer. Rahul has accomplished more than 400 live shows so far and is still going strong. Rahul Nambiar is competent to sing in many languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, English, and Hindi. His famous songs include “Vasantha Mulla,i” and “Adada Mazhada,” for which he earned a Filmfare nomination. Rahul won The Best Male Playback Singer Filmfare Award in 2012 for the song “Guruvaram.” In 2009, Rahul along with his friend Aalap Raju formed a band called ‘Rahlaap.’ They also released an album (by the same name) of both Hindi and Tamil songs. The music of which is formulated by both of them and the lyrics by Raqeeb Aalam. Rahul has also performed numerous jingles for brands like Samsung Flat Tv, Arun Ice cream and the famous “Manisarma,” the official anthem of Chennai Super Kings. Rahul has never had lack of opportunities, especially after winning the reality show Swapthasaranga. His contacts helped, and that gave him a lot of offers. Rahul has worked with a cluster of South Indian music directors like Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan Shankar, Imman, and Thaman. Sunita Sarathy was the one who encouraged him into singing. Rahul met her when she was in preparation for some Christmas show. She aided him to contribute some refined harmonies. Rahul prefers live shows over studio because of the spirit and energy around him. Rahul is married to a speech-language pathologist, Chitra. He is a gifted individual who has sung in various genres. His favorite five singers are Kishore Kumar, Celine Dion, Sir Elton John, Yesudas and S.P. Balasubramaniam.
