Veda Mithra

In the words of Kahlil Gibran, Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life, bringing peace, abolishing strife. Among the many rising musicians in our country shines Veda Mithra, the musician with 2,776 followers on Instagram and over 40K subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her most famous cover Margazhi Thingalallava, has had over 3M views on YouTube.

Veda is doing her Bachelors in Violin currently. Being such a talented and motivated artist herself, she’s a disciple of the great Thrissur C Rajendran in Carnatic Violin. Moreover, she has done her B.Tech in Leather Technology from Anna University, Chennai.

She is a part of a band named Tatkal, which had performed for the first time at JFHA Hockey Stadium, Bangalore, in 2015. Her talents are widely spoken of across the country and have become an inspiration for young artists to rise and strive to develop their musical skills. Being a very versatile and friendly person, she also collaborated with several artists like Jomy George, Crescendo, Goutham Vincent, and Pranavam Brothers. Moreover, she also performed in several live performances, events and also appeared on Amrita TV.

Veda Mithra has become an inspiration for the youth of our country, changing perspectives about music and, specifically, violin. She has a fan base of people, driven and moved by her heart-warming performances and modesty.
