Born in Tellicherry, Kerala, India, K.Raghavan is a music director. He is famously known as Raghavan Master. Raghavan was born to a folk singer. K.Raghavan had been awarded the J.C. Daniel Award, which is considered the Kerala government’s highest honour for contributions to the Malayalam industry. Raghavan has composed more than 400 songs and had been active in the Malayalam industry for nearly four decades. Raghavan loved to play football too. Mr.Raghavan began his career by producing music in the movie NeelaKuyil in 1954. As it is said, true talent runs in the blood. He married Yashoda and had five children. K.Raghavan passed away on 19 October 2013, at the age of 99.
