Chandran Veyattummal, also known as Paris Chandran, is a Malayalam Music composer born on April 30, 1956, also died recently on May 22, 2022. He is also a Multi-instrumentalist, Music Arranger, and Mixing Engineer. He is very talented and plays various Instruments like Sitar, Piano, Cello, Flute, Jhumpe, Darbuka, Saxophone, African shakers, Esraj, Keyboard Synthesizer, and Sopanam vocal. He is married to his wife Shailaja and has two sons, Anand Rag, and Ayush. Chandran Veyattummal learned music from his parents very early, when he was six, then Practiced music with the guidance of renowned gurus like Venu Nanmida and Ustad Ahemmed Hussain Khan String Instruments, Wind Keyboard, and Reed Instruments, adept at percussion. Chandran was a disciple of Njaralath Rama Poduval.
He has been a music composer since 1982, giving background scores for productions, films, and documentaries, famous in Malayalam drama and movie circles. Composed music for a Radio drama named The Monsoon on BBC in 1988. During 1989-1991 Chandran Veyattummal performed several concerts at the Framed National Royal Theatre.
