Athithi Das

Athithi Das is an Indian film actress who has predominantly worked in Malayalam Film Industry. She is well-known for getting into Malayalam Film Industry by luck, but her hard work and dedication proved it to be a worth it. Athithi Das was born on 22 July in Hyderabad, India. She grew up with her parents in Vishakhapatnam when she was a kid later, moved to Chennai as her father got transferred there. She used to travel a lot and developed a keen interest in travelling. In her school, she used to be among the toppers of the class. Apart from studies, she also used to take part in the extracurricular activities too. She was the part of her school’s drama and music club; she has taken part in many competitions and won various prizes too. She also used to take part in the contests held at her locality.

Athithi Das also used to play Badminton and she is State Level Badminton player. After completing her schooling, she moved to Hyderabad to complete her college education. Atithi Das completed Computer Science Engineering. When she was in her college she used to take part in modeling competitions held during her college fest. She also worked as model for local magazines too. After completing her graduation, she decided to do MBA. So, she moved to Vishakhapatnam. She completed her MBA at GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade. She used to be among the top scorer of the class. While she was completing her MBA, she continued working as model for local magazines.

She also played many roles as an actress in the short movies directed by her friends at the college. She made her debut in the film industry, when one of her friends sent her photos to a renowned director Kalyan. He liked her photos and called her for an audition. She was selected for the role of the movie. Although, she does not have any interests for beginning her career in Film Industry, but when she saw her acting, she thought of taking career in film industry seriously. She got really motivated. She played lead roles. The film was a horror comedy, in which girl supports her boyfriend in every situation. Athithi Das didn’t take up any drama or acting classes as she was advised by the director to pull off the natural acting. Recently, she has signed up for a Tamil movie and has received offers for various roles in Telugu films as well.
