Abhilash Vijayan

Abhilash Vijayan is an Indian filmmaker who has produced various short films and documentaries. He earned his post-graduation in Communication from the University of Hyderabad and completed his Diploma in Direction from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). His short film 'Rope Trick' was featured in the international project 360º by Motiroti. In contrast, his student short film 'Dwand (The Dual)' won four international and 25 Indian film festival awards. In 2013, his documentary 'That Elephant from the Bridge' premiered at Dok Leipzig in Germany. He is an independent filmmaker at Frames Flow Productions. He also worked as the Associate Script Writer for the feature film 'Dam999' produced by Marine Biz TV. 'Dam999' narrates a love story in the backdrops of marine life and an old, dilapidated dam.
