Sasilekha Nair

Sasilekha Nair is a Bharatanatyam dancer and an entrepreneur. She hails from Kattoor near Kozhencherry in the Pathanamthitta district. She is a graduate in Microbiology and a postgraduate in English literature. Furthermore, she has also received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from St. Mother Theresa University. She went to Bangalore for her graduation. After graduation, she worked as a microbiologist. She did triple majors’ graduation, which has Microbiology, Zoology, and Chemistry as major subjects. After marriage, she moved to London and worked as a microbiologist with P&G (Proctor and Gamble). She had also worked for British Heart Foundation, a charity organization when she was in the UK. After coming back to India, she decided to start a company. She was always passionate and ambitious about starting a new business. She used the contacts in London to open the IT Company. The company got many projects initially with the help of the London contacts. The company got registered in the year 2015. She is the CEO of IT firm IQ Matrix Infosys solution at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. They help different businesses to overcome complex business problems using the web and mobile applications. They help the business to do work efficiently. They act as a pillar of support to the companies. She has won many titles like Mrs. India Kerala and Mrs. Asia International Most Charming in 2018, Classic Mrs. Grand Universe India in 2021.

She won the National Award for Excellence in Women Entrepreneurship. She said that the Mrs. India Kerala contest happened to be something that she had never planned. It was accidental. She got to know about it through social media. Mrs. India Private Limited organized the contest. She found it interesting, so she went through the contest website and decided to participate. Apart from being an entrepreneur and dancer, she is also a mother of two. She balances everything organized, being a mother, dance practice, extensive working hours, business trips, etc. These show the passion she has for her work life and her family. She says that being a mother has never stopped her from being successful. Her daughters have always supported her in reaching heights. She is an inspiration for all the women who are ambitious and passionate about their dreams. If we firmly believe in ourselves, we can achieve whatever we wish to become. She also says that when we leave the earth, make sure that we've made our mark.
