Shahad Nilambur was born on February 4, 1994 in Nilambur, Malappuram, Kerala. He completed his primary edu-cation at Kavalamukta LP School and Paramba GUP School and Higher Secondary education at Palemedu SHSS and Paramba GUP School. He also studied Computer Science and Engineering at Erode Nanda Polytechnic College. His career started as a short film director in 2009 - 2010. The short film Motta, directed by him with the help of a local businessman when he was a plus-one student, became sensational news. Thus, locals collected money and urged him to do more short films.
Later, he directed five short films under the name Village Shades. His short film, Oppana, was selected as the best film at the 2020 Chetana Fest. He entered the film world as an assistant director in Long Sight, a movie starring Maqbool Salman, and another Telugu film, High Alert Click to look into! >> Read More... . He also worked as an assistant and associate director in Adi Kapyayre Kootamani in 2015 and Love Action Drama in 2019. He also worked in many other movies like Crossroad (2017), Pretham Und Sookshikkuka (2017), and Popcorn (2016). He worked as a Chief Associate Director in the 2020 film Uriyadi. In 2022, he directed his first film, Prakashan Parakkatte. In 2023, his second film, Anuragam, was directed by him.
