Sangeeth Sivan

Sangeeth is an Indian writer and director. He was born to a family of famed personalities in the industry. He is the first son to Sivan, a Filmmaker. He has two brothers who are also in filmmaking. Sangeeth is a well-liked personality. He made his debut as an executive director in Basu Bhattacharya’s son’s movie, Raakh, which was highly acclaimed. He came into light with his direction of the film, Vyooham, which was amazingly appreciated.

He is a household name in the Malayali cinema. He is well-known for his blockbuster Yodha, which brought AR Rehman to Malayali film and the movie was later translated and released in Hindi as Dharam Yodha and in Tamil as Ashokan. He released some of the hits of its time like Daddy, Gandharvam, and Nirnayam.

He also directed a Malayalam flick named Johnny, which won the Kerela State Award for the Best Children’s Film. He has also played the role as a producer in a few cinemas like Click and Idiots.
