Rajesh Nair, also credited as Rajesh Mohanan He is an Indian Director, Screenplay, Producer, an >> Read More... , is a popular Indian film director and producer in the Malayalam film industry. Born on 12 August 1978, the forty-two-year-old man has extensively worked as a writer and director in over 40 feature films in Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, and Tamil languages. He is best known for his movies ‘Escape from Uganda (2013)’, ‘Salt Mango Tree (2015)’, ‘Kalyanam (2018)’, and his latest film ‘Thrissur Pooram' (2019).

Nair, based in Uganda, was an accomplished CEO of Uganda-based Tembo Steel Limited before coming into movies. He served the company for eight consecutive years, during which he held two Corporate roles -Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. His conduct and professionalism made the company the second-largest exporter of steel products from Uganda. He also worked as the Chief Marketing Manager of Roofings Limited, a manufacturing giant from the Uganda steel industry, where he served for another six years. However, to explore his lifelong passion for movies, Nair entered the entertainment industry almost a decade ago. He started working as Managing Director at Impressario Uganda Limited. Nair's experience and expertise made him successful in his new line of work too. He has been a franchise holder of Miss India Worldwide for Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania and also a key organizer of an Indian lifestyle TV event Zee Mantra.
