Dileesh Nair is a south based film director and scriptwriter born on July 23, 1981, in Thodupuzha Kerala. Nair made his debut as a scriptwriter in the movie “Salt N’ Pepper” in 2011 along with Shyam Pushkaran. Since then, he has written scripts for other movies like ‘Da Thadiya’ and for his directorial debut ‘Tamaar Padaar’ in 2014, which unfortunately didn’t do well at the box office. He has appeared in cameo roles in ’22 Female Kottayam’ Da Thadiya, Idiots.
Before working in the cinema, he worked as a 2D animator for clients in Australia and the Middle East based out of Kochi. Salt N’ Pepper won the Asia Vision Award for Best family movie award along with three other awards too and the Amrita Film Award for the Best Movie as well. Da Thadiya was also met with positive reviews. Dileesh also wrote dialogues for the 2012 movie ‘Idukki Gold.’
