Aashiq Nawal

Aashiq Nawal also known as Dancing surgeon is an Indian dancer and choreographer from Kozhikode, Kerala. He is a doctor by profession, who pursued MBBS and MS in General Surgery at the MES Medical College. He did his schooling from Sainik School Kazhakootam in 2007. Since then, he has had several experiences in the medical field, such as Assistant surgeon in the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology in Government Medical College, an Assistant Surgeon in Malabar Medical College, a specialist surgeon in Abeer Hospital, and a specialist surgeon in Kimshealth Hospital in Oman. Although a doctor by profession, it did not stop him from pursuing his passion for dancing. He became a TV celebrity through his entry in reality TV dance show called D4Dance in 2014. His outstanding performance left the audience in awe.

He is a fine example of multi-talented youth. His act of storytelling ‘Thappal’ through a classical dance choreography by Vineeth won hearts in theD4Dance show. He became the first runner-up for the show. He has also performed in various events in Malabar Medical College after his popularity from D4Dance. He often posts dance videos on his social media account. He has done dance covers of popular songs like Chaleya, Manike, Pakallravukal, Jugnu, Stay, You Are My Soniya and many more. He also posts educational healthcare videos, hence maintaining a perfect work-life balance. He was married to Aanshi in 2023. His artistic talent and hardworking nature in the healthcare field have brought him fame and is recognized as a multitalented, blooming, and youthful surgeon.
