Amritha Rajan was born in Calicut, Kerala, in the year 1997. She is a Malayalam singer and composer. Amritha completed her schooling at Mar Gregorio's memorial Higher Secondary School and GGHSS (Government Girls Higher Senior Secondary School) Perumbavoor. She studied medicine and completed her graduation at Government Medical College, Calicut.

Amritha has been fond of singing and an avid learner since her childhood. She started learning Karnataka Music when she was in 1st grade. Guru Raj Laxmi Ashokan was her mentor. Amritha was a talented and enthusiastic child who participated in school events, competitions, and college festivals too. In 2011, she won a Live Music competition at her school. That encouraged her and made her confident enough to showcase her talent on a larger platform for wider audience. She started recording video songs, and posted them on social media and her YouTube Channel, which she had started in November 2014. Her videos got immense love on the internet and some of them went viral. After viewing her viral videos, some good musicians not only appreciated her but also approached her for song recordings.
Amritha is now part of a music band named Groove. She is the vocalist of this Kerala-based band.

In 2019 she auditioned for the popular Colors TV show Rising Star Reality TV talent hunt shows have always been one >> Read More... Rising Star Season 3. Though she does not understand the Hindi language, but she performed Hindi songs beautifully. In her auditions, she sang the song Kehna Hi Kya from the movie Bombay. Everybody applauded her for her performance as she got selected for subsequent rounds of the show. Amritha stated that Rising Star is a platform that gave her a learning experience as she learned a lot from fellow contestants, judges, and the grooming teams. She qualified for the succeeding rounds and was a finalist on the show.

Another achievement of her life was chosen as one of the Top 10 contestants of Music Maestro A.R. Rahmans' online music cover contest #99SongsCoverStar Challenge. Amritha got a golden opportunity to interact with the legendary musician over a video call, and she said it was a dream that came true. This young Indie singer has been a part of various super-hit projects. She has given music and vocals for Dheemahi- a music video on 10gmedia's YouTube channel. Amritha also did voice recording for Tara, which is a project by film director Arun Mohar. Apart from this, she is a music entrepreneur and takes online music classes. She is also a composer/ programmer at RCleff Production House.

Various news channels like The New Indian Express and News18 Kerala have featured this talented singer. She has practiced all her life to polish her skills, and her hard work has paid off. She has had a successful singing career, and a brighter future stands ahead for her.
