Sona Jelina is a Mollywood child artist, known for Amrita Channel’s, “Manasamaina (Kairali TV, 2015),” Bhagyalakshmi (Surya TV, 2015),” “Amma (Asianet, 2012);” “Chadanamazha (Asianet, 2014),” Maloothy (Manorama),” “Ennu Swantham Jani (Surya TV),” etc. She received the award for ‘Best Child Artist,” in 2017, for her performance in various television series. She became a public figure at the age of four and a half.
In 2017, she appeared in an Indian musical television series “Vanambadi,” produced by M.Ranjith, under Avanthika Productions, which premiered on Asianet channel & Disney+Hotstar. Jelina gained many fans and recognized as ‘Tamburu,’ or ‘Tamburumullah of Kerala.’ She is into singing and even took up singing lessons at the same time. Sona Jelina was born and raised in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram, India. She went to ‘Government Cotton Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram, and is currently residing with her mother Prasanna & two brothers, Jethin & Jeline in Kovalam, Jelina, along with her second brother Jeline shot a small movie, “Korona Ghost,” while her family members were fully supportive.
