Shajie Naduvil

Shajie Naduvil is an Indian art director known for his work in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Kochi, Kerala, India, on April 13th, 1978, to his parents, Thankachan Naduvil and Saramma Naduvil. He has one brother and one sister. Shajie completed his schooling at St. Paul's school, Vyttila, Kochi, and pursued a degree in Visual Communication from the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Management from I.G.N.O.U. Shajie began his career in the film industry as an assistant art director in the 2004 movie, 'Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum.' His first independent project as an art director was the 2006 movie, 'Classmates,' directed by Lal Jose.

His work in this movie was greatly appreciated, establishing him as a good art director in the industry. Shajie has won many awards for his work, including the Kerala State Film Award for Best Art Direction in 2010 for his work in the movie, 'Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja.' He also won the Best Art Direction award at the Asianet Film Awards in 2008. Shajie worked on multiple projects in the Malayalam film industry. He is an active member of the Motion Picture Producers' Association and the South Indian Film Art Directors' Association.
