Sinta Kartik, a young lady from Kerala and is among one of the popular faces on television. She is popularly known for hosting on many leading television shows in Kerala. She currently hosts the show ‘ Mummy and Me’. Married to DJ Karthik, her first show as a host was ‘ Top 10’ on Asianet. She gained a lot of appreciation for her outstanding work. Later on, she got many opportunities for anchoring in Celebrity Cricket League, co-hosted programs such as ‘Comedy Stars’ which first aired in 2009,

‘Sundaran Neeyum Sundari Njaanum’ a vibrant dance and music reality show, ‘Bharthakkanmarude Sraddhakku’and few more. Sinta stays natural and graceful in front of the camera. One can’t please all viewers, but she knows how to relate to the audience.

Her communication skills, gestures, looks, costumes and body language, are the qualities that stand her apart. This woman works hard to speak proper Malayalam words. She has been appreciated a lot for her anchoring skills from the time of ‘top 10’. Though she speaks in half English and half Malayalam, she has her style of delivery which covers it up. She believes in modern dressing styles. Television was also something she tried her skills on. But eventually, she gave up on acting.

She says that television is not something that she is not comfortable with and is not her cup of tea. She acted in the serial ‘ Makal’, which went on-air on Surya TV. But nevertheless, he is doing what she does the best, and that is anchoring. It might be a surprise, but this amazing woman was more into studies and at the same time enjoyed doing anchoring too when given the break. She aspires to become a clinical psychologist. Delsy Ninan

Delsy Ninan is a popular anchor and singer from Kerala, India. She moved to Chennai and did her post-graduation in Mass Communication at the Women’s Christian College. During an inter-collegiate contest, she joined the popular music show, Sapthaswarangal on Sun TV, and won the Best Performer Award. Later, she joined the all-girls band called Girlz and performed in several television programs. Delsy turned playback singer through Sunny Viswanath’s critically-acclaimed film, Israa, where she sang the title song of the film, along with Australian singer, Seraya Young. Viswanath later introduced her to Jassie Gift, the music composer of the Malayalam crime thriller film, Balram vs. Tharadas, where she sang Neelathadakangalo. From then, she started singing for Malayalam films like Ashwaroodan in 2006, Sooryakireedam and Subhadram in 2007. She also sang in the Telugu film, John Appa Rao 40 Plus and the Tamil film, Thee Nagar. Besides films, Delsy also sang the title songs of many Malayalam TV serials. She has no formal training in classical music, but this led her in learning Carnatic music and Hindustani from Padmanabhan and Ustad Fayaz Khan respectively. In 2013, an album entitled Climax was released, where she sang the track, Mayangan Kazhiyilla Oru Shalabathiinum. In 2014, she collaborated with Shouvik Ghoshal in the songs Nahi Saamne and Katrin Mozhi. In 2015, she sang the song Malare from the movie Premam. She had performed in several stage shows and had been part of several shows around the 22 states in the United States. Besides singing, Delsy is also anchoring TV shows such as Star Wars on Kairali channel, Asianet Plus’ Hridayaragam, Jeevan TV’s Naalumani Pookkal and Kairali’s Candlelight.

VJ Jeeva Joseph

VJ Jeeva Joseph is arguably the most recognized face in Surya Music. He not only has a pretty face to put in front of a camera for many musical and non-musical programs in Surya Music, but most importantly, he can easily grab the public’s attention on the channel. He can be described as rather easy going with his co-workers (hosts especially), but underneath he is a very serious and determined guy. It is because of these good qualities that he is a prominent VJ in the TV channel. VJ Jeeva Joseph, along with another host, Levin, had hosted the show ‘ Friends Corner’ on Surya Music. It totally was the best-grounded show produced by Ameen Bin Abu. There was another show, “STAR Campus #Special Edition” on Surya music “Ishtam pole pattu” by VJ Jeeva Joseph, who had shot the entire show in outdoor locations. The show was produced by Nidhin Chandran with camera credits taken by Shivan, and Jeeva played the role of the VJ. Jeeva Joseph was popular with SURYA Music show, “Django Boys” too. The anchor shot to popularity with Surya Music channel shows. The host looks like a celebrity, but he is extremely grounded to this work. He ultimately became the face of youth anchor in Kerala. “Friends Corner” was a new experience for viewers. As times have changed, so have the apprehensions and the youth’s participation in the program. “Friends Corner” was depicted as putting the best efforts of the anchor Levin and Jeeva Joseph together. Their hard work was greatly rewarded. Currently, Jeeva Joseph is busy with a musical programme show for Surya TV named, “Paattu Vandi”. The show will provide the platform for all music aspirants.
