Shafeer Khan was born on 22nd March 1990 at Kozhikode, Kerala. He was born to Abdul Latheef and Shabna Khan in a middle class joint family. Being the elder brother of two siblings, Khan developed a taste for cinema at an early age.. He did his schooling in Kozhikode and later joined Kerala University for a degree in media studies.During his college life, he joined drama clubs, campaigns, local theatre as well.
