Pramod Veliyanadu is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. Pramod was born in 1978 in Kuttanad Veliyanad in the Alappuzha district. His parents were KK Prakash and Vijayamma. Pramod has completed his schooling from Veliyanad LP School, and Perunna NSS School and he completed his college education from Changanassery NSS College. Pramod was actively participating in artwork from his school and college level. Pramod played his first role as Oramma Peta Makkal in Cochin Nayan’s Play. Abhayan Kalavarur was the mentor of Pramod in the field of drama.
Pramod was popularly known for his act in many films such as Aavesham, in which he played the character of Ranga’s cousin, Anchakkallakokkan, a thriller drama as Malaga, Abhyuham as Devasya, Anweshippin Kandethum, a crime thriller film as PC Suku, Janaki Jaane as Johny, Neelavelicham as Cheriya Parikkanni, Vellaripattanam as L C Secretary, Kuri as Achayan, Mahaveeryar (2022) as Sugunan, John Luther as Varghese, Aarkkariyam as Bhasi, and Kala as Mani.
Pramod also worked as an actor in the films Vivekanandan Viralaanu, Nona, Maharani, Jerry, Innalekal Thalirkkumbol, Chakkala, Purusha Pretham, Chithni, Kaatthu Kaatthoru Kalyanam, and Chera. Apart from these, Pramod also worked as an actor in the TV series Madhuvidhu. Pramod won the State Government Award for Best Comedian in 2007 for his hilarious performance in Aniyara's drama Rastriya Paatava. In 2009, Pramod again won an award from the state government for Pala Communication's Kadulam Kanivenna drama. Pramod got attention on the internet through web series. Along with web series Pramod worked in numerous short films.
