Aishwarya Pissay is an Indian circuit and off-road motorcycle racer. She was born on August 14, 1995, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She was the first Indian motorsports athlete to win a world title. In the year 2016, Aishwarya graduated from Apex Racing Academy. Aishwarya won the Honda One Make Championship in the same year. Some of her achievements are 5th position in the Dakshin Dare, 2nd position in the Asia Road Racing Cup, winning the last round of the 2016 Indian National Rally Championship, and 1st position in the CEAT Sprint Rally. TVS sponsored her for her participation in the FIM Bajaj World Cup. She participated and secured 1st place in the women's category and 2nd in the junior's category. She is the only Indian woman to win five FMSCI National Rally titles. Initially, she started her career with Circuit Racing, Honda one-make, and TVS one-make titles.
She also won multiple INRC-2w titles. Aishwarya discovered her passion for motorcycles and racing when she was 18 while taking small road trips around her hometown of Bengaluru. She turned her love, her hobby, into a profession and went on to win multiple titles across the world. She won the Indian National Rally Championship consecutively from 2017 to 2021. She was the first Indian woman to compete in the Baja Aragon World Rally in Spain in 2018. After graduating from Apex Academy, she attended the California Superbike School in 2017. Aishwarya secured 3rd position in Dakshin Dare Group-B and 4th place in the Raid De Himalaya. She was the only female rider to complete the course in the "Xtreme" category from California Superbike School. In 2017, TVS signed Aishwarya as a factory racer.
Aishwarya was full of dedication. Her dedication paved the way to winning so many awards. Apart from racing awards, she also won the TiE Young Achiever of the Year award in 2016, the Outstanding Women in Motorsports Award by FMSCI in 2016, the Outstanding Women in Motorsports Award by FMSCI in 2017, and she received the award by FMSCI for two years consecutively. Sports Women of the Year Award by Autotrack Magazine. She also had an accident in Jordan Baja in March 2021. After that, she worked on rehabilitation and bagged another national title last year before going into high-performance training abroad to participate in more racing and off-road racing tournaments.
