Suchitralata is a Kannada based, Indian music composer/lyricist. She is a classical Veena player, being trained in Indian classical music since childhood; she did not restrict herself to classical music only, she exposed herself to a variety of jonres like Broadway, jazz, rock, etc.
She has been very diverse with her work, composing for Bollywood films to worldwide bands, she has done it all. Her Kannada language movies include E-Preethi and Rangitaranga.
She also composes music for Radio Mirchi Bengaluru, corporate films, ad jingles, etc. Being a lyricist, she not only writes in Kannada or Hindi but also in English, Tamil, and sometimes in French.
Currently, she is a part of the band "soular flare". Her music is heard worldwide on radio channels in the USA and across Europe. She is a joyful mix of Indian and upbeat rock and jazz music, which makes her unique in her own way.
