After graduation, Mohena changed her education path and wanted to pursue a career in television and communication. Then, she did her post-graduation in Mass Communication. She worked at Mantra Picture Company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, which produces films for advertising, motivational, awareness, corporate, and many more niches. She worked as a Creative Director for approximately 33 years in the company. She has directed various advertisements and corporate films. She further moved in her career from a Filmmaker to a casting professional.
