Rakesh Raaj is a Kannada actor, director and writer. Rakesh celebrates his birthday on 28th July every year. He wrote the first film, The Curious Case of Antony Gonsalves, produced by Vijeth Aralaguppi. He is also involved in the cast and crew of the film Kali, a short film by Vijeth Aralaguppi. The film was televised at various film festivals, such as the Tagore International Film Festival 2021. It was one of the official selections of the New York Independent Cinema Awards 2021, the 10th Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival 2021, the World Film Carnival Singapore 2021, and many other festivals.
Besides acting and writing the movies, Rakesh Raaj has also tried his hand at directing them. He has co-directed the films Chakravyuha - The Prelude (Part 1) and Chakravyuha - The Prelude (Part 2) by KRG Connects. Rakesh Raaj has acted in both these films. He attended events like the webisode of 2017 called The Kathe Project, in which he was presented as the actor and the filmmaker.
