Zeishan Quadri was born in 1983 in Wasseypur, Bihar. This young writer actor got his claim to fame by writing the story for Bollywood’s crime genre ‘The Gangs of Wasseypur’ duology. This movie got directed by a well known name of Bollywood Anurag Kashyup. Both of these movies did extremely well at the box office and he was largely appreciated for the story, script as well as the small role he played in the movie.

He was born to Syed Imran Quadri, a civil engineer and has completed his degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from Meerut. He then worked in a Delhi call center for 18 months. In 2009 he moved to Mumbai to try his luck at filmmaking.

His film, ‘’ starring and and directed by also made a mark in the industry. He is currently working on 'Meeruthiya Gangsters’, which will be his debut as a director. He started his acting career by playing a small role in his movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur2’ as ‘definite’. Zeishan will be seen as thelead actor in the upcoming movie called ‘Akki te Vikki te Nikki’.

This movie is being directed by Vipin Sharma and produced by Bohra Brothers. He is also playing the negative lead role in Sajid Ali’s ‘Banana’ under the banner of John Abharam Entertainment. He is also working on a script with Madhur Bhandarkar and writing ‘Oh Womaniya' for Pritish Nandy Communications.

This promising artist has a long way to come! His movies are something to look forward to.
