Baldev Gill is a Hindi writer and a producer. He is well known for Waaris released in the year 1988, Jee Aayan Hai released in the year 2003 and Jag Jeodayan De Mele in the year 2009. He was also the screenplay and dialogue writer in Punjabi film industry. He wrote down Chann Pardesi in 1980. He is also the screenplay of Ishq My Religon, a Punjabi movie in 2019. Another well known work of Baldev is Police in Pollywood, a Punjabi movie released in 2014. As a song writer he worked in both Hindi and Punjabi.
Asa Nu Maan Watna Da in 2004 and Yaara O Dildarain 2011 was his screenplay and dialogue writing work. Other important works of him include Mitti Wajaan Mardi released in 2007, DilApna Punjabi released in 2006, Waaris released in 1988 and Welcome to Punjab released in 2012.
