Nishil Sheth is a writer and assistant director, known for Bhasmasur (2017), Bawara Dil Bawara Dil is a romantic drama aired on Colors TV >> Read More... (2021) and Vamoose (2014). During the New York Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival, he was nominated as best director for Bhasmasur and won the award in 2018. He also won the Best Film and Best Director awards in Ottawa Indian Film Festival Award in the year 2018. As a co-founder of Eastreel Film Production Pvt Ltd., he contributes to the production house. His passion for creating stories that motivate and inspire is a result of his passion for inspiring stories. He studied at the People’s Education Society (PES) University located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He did his bachelor’s in Computer and Information Sciences and master’s in Information Technology from PES university.

He did his diploma in Filmmaking from Whistling Woods International. Currently, he is staying in Mumbai. He is also the head of the Piano and Music Production Departments at True School of Music at Vijaybhoomi University (Mumbai). He was awarded many prestigious awards abroad and in domestic land as well mentioning them.

He is also fond of writing and directing ads for companies and big houses like Alex Twenteen. Village Rockstars was India's official entry into the Oscars - 2018 for the best foreign language category and he played a part as the editor of the official trailer for the movie. He is eyeing creating an impactful movie directed and written by him. When he was in film school, sometimes he had to come up with a script in two days for a 16mm project.

He came across this article while surfing the internet one night during those times, without even thinking about it. Nevertheless, it stayed for the next two or three days. As a result, he thought he could do something interesting with it in three minutes that isn't so comical. It seems that he was always doing something comical, or at least he thought he was. This is how he made his films inspired by true events and captured the film’s true essence.
