Nupur Alankaar

Nupur Alankaar is an Indian TV actress and model. This Sagittarian hailed from Jaipur and completed her education from there. An alumnus of the Satya Sai College, Jaipur, she was very good at studies and actively participated in theater activities of the college. 

Before joining show business, she was employed with “Akhil Bhartiya Vedic Shikshan and Prashikshan Sansthan” an organization that promotes Vedic culture. She has acted in many TV serials, some of them are Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, a serial based on the story of a needy family of Bihar. She gave a very emotional performance in this serial and came into limelight. She also played an important character in “ Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann is a Hindi language telev >> Read More... ” where she played the character of “Halki Behan”, the serial was based on importance having daughters in the home. 

Currently, she is playing the role of Sadhvi Mahatapa (a role of the Goddess) in Ravi TV serial on Big Magic. In her real life, she is very simple and fun loving. She is a great cook and loves cooking for her friend and family. In 2003, she got married to Alankar Srivastava.

She has a great sense of humor as once to celebrate her husband’s birthday; she invited all the ex-girl friends (they were total seven!) of Alankar. When he came to know about this, he also laughed about this idea and saluted her sense of humor. This event speaks a lot about the understanding between them. Nupur wanted to work in Bollywood, but it demands outdoor shooting, which she is not comfortable with. However, one day we will see her on the big screen.
