Hussain Haidry is an all-rounder person. He is well versed in writing lyrics and writing poems. He has gained immense fame after his famous poem named 'Hindustani Musalmaan' went viral on all the platforms of social media. Hussain is born and brought up in Indore, India, and he is a Dawoodi Bohra. He has completed his schooling from Shri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar School. Later, for perusing his PGDM, he went to the Indian Institute of Management Indore, and here he worked as the Head of Finance in Kolkata in a Healthcare company. In the year 2015, he left his job and moved towards Mumbai to become a full-time lyricist and a screenwriter. As soon as he left his job in Kolkata, he started participating in spoken words Poetry Forms in Mumbai, such as the Poetry Club; Words Tell Stories, and Prithvi Caferati.
After becoming famous from Hindustani Musalmaan, he was invited to NDTV show named the 'The Buck Stops Here' and there he also got the appreciation from
on the show 'Prime Time' for his poem. Being a lyricist, he got his first movie named Qarib Qarib Single in which he has written two songs 'Tu Chale Toh’ and ‘Tanha Begum’ which were composed by
. After some time, he has also written songs for the movie Tamasha and Aiyyash Chore. After writing the song for the Amazon Web Series, he has become more popular, and with this, his trending work is seen in the
seasons two which comes in one of the reasons for the success of this series.
