Darshan Aulakh

Darshan Aulakh was born in Abohar, Punjab, India. His first debut on Punjabi Television was in Mubarak an. He also debuted in Punjabi Films with the movie Mirza Jatt in 1992. Following that he has worked in a number of Hindi Punjabi and English movies. He has done a number of small roles in Punjabi movies like Baghi Soormay, Dhee Jatt Di, Khoon Da Daaj, Shaheed e Mohabbat Boota Singh, Dil Apna Punjabi, Mitti wajaan Mardi, Mera Pind: My home, Ajj de Ranjhe and more. Aulakh, apart from working in Punjabi films, has also worked in a number of popular Hindi films like Sultan where he played the role of the engine driver.

He is pretty well known as a producer and has his own production house named Darshan Aulakh Production. He has worked with some of the biggest production houses of the industry including Yash Raj Films, Nadiadwala Films, India Take One Productions. He has won a number of national and film awards. Darshan Aulakh, besides his acting, is also well known for his skills as a writer. He has written for movies like Khoon Da Daaj and Ishq Na poochie Jaat. He has also written the additional screenplay for the movie Laali.
