Sayantani Putatunda is a famous Bengali Writer, born in 1985 in Kolkata. She completed her Graduation in Bengali Literature from Presidency College and her post-graduation from Calcutta University. She was very fond of writing, so she studied further in poetry and prose. She published her first Short story Chashma, in the daily Saturday Newspaper in class seven. She is a storyteller, dialogue writer, lyricist and screenwriter. She worked as a writer in many films. Her most famous film has been Shankhachil (2016).
As a writer, she has published many of her books in the Category of Children's Literature, Detective Books, and Thriller Books, Due to which she has gained a lot of fame.
