Binita Desai

Binita Desai is a writer, currently working as the Fiction Head at ETV/Colors Gujarati, a part of the VIACOM 18 group. She is a professional in the media industry with over 20 years of experience in writing and programming for the television media. She started her career by writing stories for the TV serial Kutumb, which aired on Sony television. It was a love story and quite popular among its target audience. Her second stint as a writer was with the serial Bandini on NDTV Imagine and was set against the backdrop of Gujarat in Dharampur a village near Surat in Gujarat. She also has experience as an executive producer in the programming department. Besides English, she knows three other languages namely Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. Her works have always been appreciated by critics and loved by audiences.
