Vijay Raaz (Born: 5th June 1963) is an Indian film actor. His breakthrough came with the role he played as Dubeyji in the movie ‘ Monsoon Wedding’ and achieved his fame for the performance in the film ‘ Run’. His “Kauwa Biryani” act became highly praised worldwide. Since then, Raaz has been cast in small and comic roles in many Hindi movies. His specialty lies in depicting a common man in today’s Hindi movies.

His first directed film is ‘ Kya Dilli Kya Lahore’. Vijay hails from Allahabad, Uttarpradesh. When he was a student of Kirori Mal College, he was a part of the dramatic society called ‘The Players.' He also appeared in plays at the National School of Drama.

In pursuit of a film career, he moved to Mumbai and got a role in Ram Gopal Verma’s film ‘Jungle’. Legendary Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah noticed him Perform at the National School of Drama. Impressed, he recommended Raaz for Mahesh Mathai’s ‘ Bhopal Express’ and to Mira Nair for Monsoon Wedding.

His first cast as a leading actor was in the film ‘Raghu Romeo’, where he portrays the life and struggles of a low-born Indian man. It was a box office hit. However, Vijay Raaz came into lime light for his memorable performance in the Abhishek Bachchan starrer movie ‘Run’. His performance in the movie got the cult status and made him popular among mass people. He played a significant role of a reckless gangster in the film ‘ Delhi Belly’. For the villainous performance in the movie, he received much critical applause.

Despite his arrest at the Abu Dhabi airport in the year 2005 for possession of drugs, he continues to be a popular face in present day’s Indian cinema.

Pradeep Rawat, is known for his villainous roles in various movies. He was born on January 21, 1952 at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. He played various villainous roles in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. The journey of this actor in Hindi roles starts from an epic “Mahabharat” as Ashwatthama (Dronacharya’s son) in 1988-90. He created his magic in various Bollywood movies like ‘Sarfarosh’, he played the role of ‘Sultan’. In ‘Lagaan’ he played as ‘Deva’, and in 2008 he became more popular by playing a role called ‘Ghajini Dharmatma’ in Ghajini. He ventured into ‘Tollywood’ with a hit film named ‘Sye’. Rawat is also a winner of “Filmfare Best Villain Award” and “Santosham Best Villain Award” for Sye(Telugu) in 2004. He captured “Nandi Award” for Best Villain for the same movie in same year. He was also nominated for ‘IIFA Awards’ for ‘Best performance in a negative role’. Although Rawat is known for his negative roles, he is a very generous and kind person in real life.

Pran Krishan Sikand known as Pran was an Indian actor. This legend was born in New Delhi during the British rule. His dad late Kewal Krishan Sikand, who was a Civil Contractor for the Government and had a transferable job. Due to which he did his schooling from various schools in Kapurthala, Unnao, Meerut, Dehradun and Rampur. He was excellent in his academics, especially in Mathematics. The Shiromani Award, Filmfare Awards, Stardust Villain of the Millenium Award, Screen-Videocon Life Time Achievement Award, Lux-Zee cinema Excellence In Cinema Award, Journalists Association of Andhra Pradesh, Film Journalists Association-Uttar Pradesh, Punjabi Kala Sangam, Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association Award and The Lion’s Club Award are just some of them. He also got the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the most prestigious award for lifetime achievement. He was well known for his favorite line ‘Barkhurdaar’. On his death, the entire country mourned and paid him condolences. Amitabh Bachchan called him a magnificent pillar of the film industry.
