Radhicka Agarwaal

RadhickaAgarwaal is a chef and is mentoring lots of aspiring cooks of India at her studio Kitchen-the Culinaria. She grew up in Dehradun. Her family background restricted her dreams of becoming a Chef, but her dream got flights when she participated in as a contestant of Master Chef India Season 1 after getting support from her husband and mother-in-law.

Radhicka native of Dehradun went to Welham Girls School. Radhicka interested in cooking from the early age of ten wanted to do a diploma course in Hotel management.

Her family background and restrictions did not allow her to pursue her interests and she ended up completing her regular studies got her degree in Bsc Home Science. According to her family, she did not have a future I cooking. Though she got admission to the Culinary Institute of America, her parents did not allow her to go.

She started working as a dietician, but then she left her job as being a lover of food it was being difficult for her to put restrictions on people and telling them not to eat. Then she started working as the Event Manager. She left her job after getting married.

In 2010, she participated as a contestant in Master Chef India Season 1 after getting full support from her husband and mother in law. She gained her confidence as she went on clearing all the rounds of audition and getting compliments from the judges.

She won as a second runner-up and achieved her dream of becoming a Chef. After winning at Master Chef India in 2010, she inaugurated her cooking school. She named her studio kitchen – The Culinaria where she invited people to learn and explore various new cooking styles with her. Every month Radhicka conducts classes for the aspiring chefs only for ten days.

She manages classes of 20 slots where each slot is for three hours. On a high demand, she Radhicka even published her recipe book titled ‘The Daily Gourmet Cook Book.’ The book is a hardcover 1st edition book with 196 pages which got published on 2nd August 2013 by V & S Publishers.

In her book, she shares her recipes which helps the host of the party plan the creative party menu. She also talks about the new yet easy to make techniques and ingredients which can leave any guest amazed.
