She is well  known for her comic sense and hence she has featured in the famous show Comedy Express. Opposite to her is, Lalita Jahangirdar who is a clever and skillful woman who handles everything in manipulative actions and tricks people into taking her work done.

When Lalita tries to find a proper daughter in law for her son Neel, she takes the help of her friend for the search. In this manner, Lalita badly insults Vacchi her friend and decides to find her an ideal daughter in law who would break Lalita’s pride. In the process, Swanandi marries Neel and becomes her daughter in law. The story continues with the difference between the two and how Swanandi manages to defeat her mother in law with her sweetness and charm her in-laws. She has even played small roles in movies like Mohan Awate and Labad Kuthli.
