Right after that Shruti was casted in ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ where she played the role of a working woman, Peeya. She was also seen in ‘’, as Nitika. The role of Nitika was meaty and it brought her much fame and popularity. In ‘’ she managed to impress viewers with her role of Rupali, the leading lady’s friend.
