Shruti Kanwar is an extremely renowned actress in the Hindi television Industry. She is particularly popular for portraying characters in gray shades. Shruti wanted to be an actress from her childhood and due to this reason, she got herself enrolled in Ekta Kapoor’s Institute of Creative Excellence. She completed her graduation from this institute and was chosen to play the role of Ankita Lokhande’s daughter in the serial, ‘’.

This debut role turned out to be one of the biggest milestones in her career. The role of Ovi Deshmukh in this serial gave her overnight popularity and fan following. However, recently she quit the show and appeared in a series of other popular shows like Doli Armano Ki and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. In ‘’ she plays the role of Radha, the parallel love interest of the male lead, Samratji. In Yeh Hain Aahiqui she portrayed the role of Radha in one of the episodes.

Right after quitting the show, Shruti was first seen in an episodic role in ‘Crime Patrol’. Crime Patrol is a popular Indian Tv show that brings out the episodes of various heinous crimes. Here, she played the role of Aarti. Right after that, she also appeared as Asmita in the TV-show of Bindas TV; “Yeh hain Aashiqui”.

In an interview, Shruti mentioned that she wanted to explore her career as an actor and it was due to this reason, why she left the serial ‘Pavitra Rishtaa’. She further added about her obsession of shopping impulsively.

Currently, Shruti is seen portraying the role of Raadha in ‘Doli Armaano Ki’.
