Born on 7 February 1986, Shikha Singh hails from Chandigarh. She is an Economics graduate from MCM College. In the year 2006, she became "Miss Chandigarh".

In the year 2007, she relocated to Mumbai. Here in Mumbai, she unintentionally started her acting career. She never longed herself to become a performing artist. She demonstrated her ability in the introduction serial "Meri Doli tere Angana". She has packed away the solid and challenging parts of Amba the dacoit, in the popular Colors TV’s show "". Few people do know the fact that besides acting, Shikha loves writing, dancing and has got a natural flair for cooing also. She was one of the performing artists of the Chandigarh's Theater Group.
