Urmila Tiwari is an Indian television actress who is best known for her role in the television series ‘Hum Ladkiyan – Maayke Se Sasural Tak’ (2008). The television serial was aired on Sony Television. It was a serial set on the pious city of Benaras and was based on the life of four vivacious young girls Alka, Anjlika, Sapna & Pooja. The serial shows their relations, friendships, aspirations and dreams of these young girls. The show beautifully depicts the life of these young characters and entertains the viewers with a perfect combination of the emotions & drama. Urmila played the role of ‘Anjlika’, who is the daughter of a lead character called ‘Kanhaiya Jaiswal’ (played by ). She is also the love interest of the male protagonist of the serial called ‘Yuvraj Goel’, which was played by ‘’. Urmila beautifully essayed the role of ‘Anjlika’, which earned her a lot of praise. Her character is about a simple girl who believes in traditional Indian values. She has been among the most popular stars of the series, which successfully completed more than a hundred episodes. She was also seen in the serial called ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha Meetha Pyaara’ (2012), which was aired on Star Plus and it completed 2 successful years before coming to an end in November, 2014. She entered the show in between and was considered a beautiful love story which entertained the young and old alike.
