Richa has always been attracted to the whole artistic field and especially performing arts, more precisely acting. She got involved in acting from a very young age and started off her career in 2002 with Hats Off Productions and has never looked back ever since. Richa has worked nonstop and has proved her mettle every time she stood in front of the camera. She is not shy to take on creative roles and perform them to perfection. But her preferred genre has and will always be comedy which one can easily understand from the many comic roles she has undertaken. Richa has always been known to make people smile and prefer to do it with her roles. Her first big role was in the television ‘Baa Bahoo Baby’ where she played the role of Mitali Thakkar. She played the daughter of Praveen and Praveena Thakkar played by the talented actors Peresh Ganatra and respectively. In the show she played the role of a girl who is unlike her age, very responsible and teaches her mischievous siblings to be responsible as well.

No wonder Richa was very impressive and this role helped her bag the role of Chakki Parekh in the rib tickling comedy shows ‘Khichdi’ and ‘’. Here she plays her role alongside Praful Tulsidas Parekh and her wife Hansa played by the great actors and . She portrays the role of an intelligent girl who keeps on saying the famous words ‘Bade Log Bade Log’ to her cousin whenever her parents or the elders in her family made a stupid decision.

Richa has also played the part of a spoiled child when she played the role of Mayuri Trivedi. Her character is lazy and likes to do make up all day long and is heavily dependent on others to get her job done. Richa is an experienced actor and definitely a person with potential.
