She joined the Vinod Thakur Dance Academy, where she met her future husband Vinod Thakur, who she calls a rare soul, because of his never say die spirit and a do or die attitude. Vinod, who is a dancer, has won many accolades despite of being challenged physically. He is the prominent face of ‘India’s Got Talent 2’, reality TV show, in which he made a name for himself. He met Raksha after this event and married her. Raksha made a mark on reaching to the 3rd position in Nach Baliye 6.
