Vinod Thakur was born on 1988 and comes from an exceptionally remote place of Bihar. He was born handicapped. He is popularly known by the name of “the legless break dancer”. Vinod Thakur comes from a poor family background, his father being a truck driver. Vinod himself struggled a lot throughout his life. He began to work at a mobile repair shop at an early age. After he finished his 12, his passion for dancing began to take a new shape altogether. His friends encouraged him a lot and he started practicing hard for his dancing abilities.

In the year 2010, he was then shortlisted for the edition of Colors TV’s popular show India’s Got Talent Season 2. He then showcased his ability and within a couple of days he became extremely popular. Everyone was flabbergasted to see him dancing without his legs. Consequently, his name became the most trending topic of various newspapers and news channel. He also reached the semi final stage of the competition. He also went on to participate in British Got Talent. He then tied the knot with his love affair . Raksha was the student of the dance academy run by Vinod. It was there that they both came across each other and started to fall in love. They are in their 2nd year of marriage and have been living happily.

Recently, the couple turned up together for the dance reality show Nach Baliye. They did some exceptional performances in the show. Here also they were widely appraised by the judges. At present, Vinod runs his own dance institute and is a well known face among viewers.
