Rashi Mal debuted as an actor in one of the stories of TV series "MTV Rush" by Bejoy Nambiar which aired on MTV India. The story of show revolved around 12 characters that were attached by College festival. She started as a choreographer initially and has choreographed numerous dance numbers at Ashley Lobo's dance academy. She got her major break in a popular series Paanch- Five Wrongs Makes a Right which was youth based and aired on V Channel. The show showcased the serious issue of ragging in colleges across India. She played the negative character of dominating gang leader Gauri Laada who was indulged in ragging of new students.

Before joining to Indian entertainment industry she has done plays for theaters for 5 years. Also, she appeared in various ad films for popular brands like PepsiCo (Lays) and Nokia. She has performed as a judge in Blossom Short Film Festival initiated by Wiz Studio. She has also acted in one episode of series MTV Webbed and played the character of a school girl who became a victim of web-crime. Thereafter, she was spotted in an episode of Bindass channel show Love By Chance and featured in a story of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya aired on Zing channel.
She has studied engineering from the college of Mumbai and decided to pursue her passion for acting as a career option.
