Shubhangi Latkar is a popular TV actress who has also featured in a number of Bollywood films. She came into prominence for her portrayal as the female protagonist’s mother-in-law in the TV serial “”. In the serial, she plays a stereotype mother-in-law to the show’s central character Shivani who is always on the lookout to cause some kind of harm to her daughter-in-law. She bagged a number of awards for her performance including the Zee Rishtey Award for Best Saas.

Shubhangi has also been an extremely popular face in the Marathi television industry. Some of the popular Marathi serials she has been part of include Anubandh and Lek Laadki Hya Gharchi among others. She has starred in some Marathi films as well, most popularly in Kuni Ghar Deta Ka Ghar. She also has been receiving a number of offers for TV shows and will soon be seen in a new venture.

Apart from being an extremely talented actress, Shubhangi Latkar also has a degree in Psychology and is an acclaimed Bharatnatyam dancer. Prior to making her foray into acting, she was an employee with the Tourism Department of the Central Government of India for 18 years. Shubhangi has also acted in many popular films such as Aashiqui 2 where she plays the female Shraddha Kapoor’s on-screen mother and many more. This talented actress has already proved her credentials and she will be able to enhance her reputation with further opportunities.
