Priya Wal is an endowed Indian television actress. She was born on December 9, 1985 in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. She graduated in a boarding school in New Delhi. She also stated that if she is not an actress, she would become a writer since she is fond of writing poems, a director or a lawyer. Aside from that, Priya is also a National Level Tennis Player; it has been her passion ever since she was a kid. She never really thought that she will end up in the glamour world but when she signed the Elite Models in Delhi, she was luckily selected to become part of Remix.

She became popular for her portrayal as Anvesha Banerjee Ray or Ashi in the youth oriented television series, Remix on STAR One. Priya was seen in a red-hair and her character was rebellious in the show. She was widely known due to her rebellious and wild character in the serial. Later, she essayed the role of Ayesha, the daughter of on Sony TV’s Jeete Hain Jiske Liye. She also played as Dr. Nyla Rajyadhaksha in the crime detective series, C.I.D. which was also aired on Sony TV. She made a guest appearance as Riya in the Hindi situational comedy show, Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein on STAR Plus. Priya also acted on Sagar Arts’ fantasy drama series, Lucky which stars . She also made an appearance in the comedy series, on SAB TV. She bagged the role of , a protagonist in the Balaji Telefilms’ Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. In 2010, she was starred in a tomboyish avatar as Misha Dobriyal in the supernatural television series, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. She also acted as Riya Oberoi on Life OK’s Tum Dena Saath Mera in 2011 but she later quits the show due to some health issue. Priya was also part of the Vikas Gupta’s V The Serial on Channel V India.

After she donned Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, she took a short hiatus since she was diagnosed of Hypoglycaemia which means, her blood sugar level is low.
