Shweta Pendse is an Indian dancer and theatre-artist, popular amongst the audience for her roles in TV shows like Jayostute and Asa Sasaar Surekh Bai. Born on 8th September 1983, she is mostly known for her involvement in the Marathi Cinema.
Just after graduating with a degree in Biotechnology, Shweta worked as a teacher, and part-time theatre-artist before eventually deciding to quit her teaching profession. She has featured in over twenty plays and ten monologues, with three silver medals in acting, awarded by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Apart from a skilled actress, Shweta is a very disciplined and trained Kathak dancer.
She has performed live with Anoop Jalotha. Writing is also something which amazes Shweta, and she has written and directed several Marathi plays.
