Punam Yadav is an Indian Weightlifter. She was born on the 9th of July in the year 1995. She is from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Her father was a farmer. She used to help her parents in their work. Punam had intense training; she became an International Weightlifter. She represented India in the Commonwealth Games, 2014 held in Glasgow, Scotland.
She joined Bhu Kashi Vidyapeeth in Varanasi, Madhya Pradesh for her Under-graduation. Punam won the Gold Medal in Commonwealth Games in women’s 69 kg division, held in the year 2018. She won a Bronze Medal in the Commonwealth Games- Women’s 63 kg division in the year 2014.
