Lalruatthara

Lalruatthara is a football player who plays as a Full Back player for the football teams in India as well as for the international Indian Football team. He was born on 7th January in the year 1995. He is a native of the north-eastern state of Mizoram in India.

He currently plays for Kerala Blasters with jersey number 39. He began his career in 2010 with the Chandigarh Football Academy. He attended the football trials in 2009 and after joining, continued in the same for the next two years till 2012. In 2012 he was taken out of the academy for reasons that remain unknown.

He next joined Luangmual Football Club, in the year 2012. Luangmual is a native of Aizwal in Mizoram and stayed till the next year, 2013. With years of experience added to his career, he soon signed a contract with Chanmari Football Club in 2013.

Chanmari is a semi-professional club and is part of the Mizoram Premier League. He won the 2013-2014 season of the League with the Chanmari Side. He was also part of the Mizoram team which won the Santosh Trophy in 2014. After spending about two years in the Chanmari Club he left it in 2015 and joined Aizwal Football Club, another one from Mizoram.

He signed up for Aizawl just before the 2015-2016 edition of the I-League. His debut match was against Mohun Bagan. He scored his first goal in 2017 while playing against Shillong Lajong and led to a win for his team. He was also a part of the Aizawl team when it won the I-League in 2016-2017 edition.

He stayed in this club for two years. In 2016, Lalruatthara announced his entry in Indian Super League with the team Delhi Dynamos on loan. Soon after, in July 2017, he got through the selection for round four of the ISL Players Draft in the years 2017-2018 by the team Kerala Blasters.

He got into the 2017-2018 season of the Indian Super League. His debut match was against ATK on November 17, 2017. According to his contract, he is a part of the Kerala Blasters till 2021. Lalruatthara made his international debut in the Indian football team in the year 2018 and played his first match against Kyrgyzstan in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifier in 2019. He became a part of the final under 23 India team in 2017, for 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification held in Qatar.
