Udanta Singh is a professional Indian footballer who mainly plays as a right-winger for the Indian National Team at international level and the Bengaluru F.C. in Indian Super League. He is well recognized for his incredible pace and superior dribbling skills. He was born on 14 June 1996 in Manipur.

He started his career with the Tata Football Academy in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He played for the side in the Saras Gold Cup, the Darjeeling Gold Cup and the U-19 I-League tournaments. He represented Jharkhand at the 2011 National Games of India. He went on to make his country proud at the Nike All Asia Camp in Australia, where he was selected for the all-star team.

His career at the club culminated when he won the Golden Boot for scoring nine goals at the 2014 U-19 I-League and helping Tata win the championship. By the end of the same season, he was signed by Bengaluru F.C. He made his debut for Bengaluru at the Durand Cup, coming on as a substitute for the second half of the game.

He later made sporadic appearances for the side until March 2015 for his first I-League game. In the next football calendar year, Udanta was sent to the Oxford United club in the English Football League 2 to train for half of the season. On his return, he electrified the spectators with his first goal and man of the match title in the I-League in March 2016 against Shillong Lajong. Lajong was haunted by his presence again in the first match of the 2017 season, where he scored a brace, his second goal being a spectacular volley. Local newspapers named him the player of the week for his performance.

Bengaluru participated for the first time in the Indian Super League and ended as runner-up but Udanta had little to contribute as he managed to find the back of the net just once in nineteen games. However, he was back in form in the 2018-19 edition of the tournament as he scored five and assisted four goals for the club, helping it reach the finals, where it beat F.C. Goa 1-0 for its first ISL trophy.

Udanta was enlisted in the Indian National Team squad for the 2013 U-19 AFC Championship Qualifications. He started all the four matches of the round and struck once against Turkmenistan. He was promoted to the senior team in 2016. He scored his first and only goal for the nation against Chinese Taipei, beating it 5-0.
