Sandesh Jhingan

Sandesh Jhingan was born on 21 July, 1993. He is 26 years old. His star sign is Leo. He has played many matches in his life; some of them are United Sikkim (2011-2013,) Mumbai (2013-2014,) Kerala Blasters and India U23 in 2014, Sporting Goa and India in 2015, D S K Shivanjians in 2016, and Bangalore in 2017. Sandesh Jhingan play as a center back position in the back line in Indian Football team and also in the Kerala Blasters for the Indian Super League. In his first season of the tournament, he won the title of Indian Super League Emerging Player of the Year. He plays for the club Kerala Blaster in which he is the skipper. In this club, there are many players like former Manchester United stars Wes Brown and Dimitar Berbatov who made the most appearances for the club. Sandesh Jhingan was born in Chandigarh.

He received his training sessions for football at St. Stephen's Academy. He won the trophy B. C. Roy Trophy while representing the Chandigarh state team at Under-19 level. While he was in his academy, he helped the side reach South-East Asian finals of Manchester United Premier Cup. In November 2011, he received a call from United Sikhism to attend the trials at I-League 2nd Division. He successfully completed his trails and signed for the club. At the end of 2012 season, he helped United Sikkim to reach the top division. On 6th of October 2012, Jhingan started his senior professional debut in the I-League for his first match of the season against Salgaocar. United Sikkim won the match by 3-2 in which Jhingan played an important role by scoring the winning goal for the team.

On 18 November 2012, he scored the 2nd goal against Sporting Goa for the club. In February 2013, Chinese League One showed interest in Jhingan and invited him to China for trials but due to the selection into the Indian National Team, Jhingan could not attend the trials. With IMG reliance, Jhingan signed a contract to be a part of Indian Super League which was going to start in 2014. Jhingan also rejected an offer from Dempo. He made a sentence for rejecting such a big offer that Dempo is a big club and to receive an offer from them was itself a very big thing for him. He also added that he is sure that playing under coach Arthur Papas and being associated with the club would have benefitted him. However, he doesn't regret his decisions. Sandesh also became the captain of the Kerala Blaster on 16 November, 2017 against ATK. In 2014 season, he also won the All India Football Federation Immerging Player of the Year. He was the first player to feature in 50 matches and made 55 matches for the club.
