The quote ‘Nothing happens unless first a dream’ is so suitable for the super talented footballer Ajith Sivan. This energetic juvenile hails from a small district in Kerala. Born to a rock worker, Ajith did his schooling in Vellayani Ayyankali Memorial Model School, and ever since then, he was always found in the football ground either competing with his classmates or playing for the school.
Then he passed out, and it was one of the matches he played for his college that changed his life. Little did he know that when he presented the Nirmala College for the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports sponsored event that they would be impressed by the enthusiasm and the style of playing of Ajith, and he got selected for the Kochi’s Kerala Blasters football team.
He had brought a fake Blasters t-shirt when we went to watch the team’s matches to show how much he loved the squad. Ajith was on cloud nine when he heard the news that he was going to be a part of that club for which he usually cheered and supported. Ajith was grateful to his family and friends that we got a chance to play alongside his idol, C.K.Vineeth, from the Bengal football team.
He then got qualified and was selected for the training in the U-23 camp to play for national games.
